Her family was Catholic and she was raised in the Upper East Side in Manhattan. In order to avoid the pitfalls of this lifestyle, her parents decided to enroll in the Convent of the Sacred Heart the most prestigious religious school. Her love of musical instruments since the age of kid. As a child, she began playing the piano and at thirteen she composed her very first song. She participated in open-mic nights. Her top singers included The Queen, Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. After graduating from high school she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University to study music.
